Websites, managed or owned outright

We build your site and run it on our accounts. The code, the hosting and the tools behind it are ours, and one monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring, updates and your changes. Your domain name stays in your business's name.

A simple site has no upfront cost at all. If your current site is large, or what you're planning is more involved, such as more pages and forms or an old site to move across, there's an upfront build fee as well, set by that size and agreed before we start.

Leaving is spelled out in advance. Your domain is yours, whatever happens. After 12 months, the code comes with you at no cost, in a GitHub repository in your name. Leave within the first 12 months and you keep the domain, and the site stays with us unless you buy it out. We price a buyout when you ask.

The full build, handed over. GitHub for the code and Vercel for the site and any forms are opened in your business's name, along with Google's tools if you add search and analytics, and billed to you directly by each provider, with no markup from us. Once the final invoice is paid, the code is yours outright.

Everything is documented and kept next to the code: how the site is built, every account and who can access it, your DNS records, any forms, and how a change is made or undone. Another developer could take over without us. At handover we walk you through it, and roll back a live change and restore it so you see how.

You check the finished site against a checklist agreed before you sign, and defects are fixed at no charge for 30 days after handover. After that, changes come through Ongoing care, or are quoted one at a time.

Contact, quote and service forms with the fields you need. Each enquiry is sent through the email you already use, such as Microsoft 365, from a website mailbox in your own email system, and lands in your inbox.

If an enquiry can't be sent, the visitor is told straight away and shown your phone number, and their message stays on screen so they can try again. A copy of every enquiry sent stays in the website mailbox.

The forms run on the same hosting as the site, so there's no extra provider or bill. Without them, visitors reach you by the phone number and email address on every page.

An upgrade to the quote forms. Every enquiry is saved as structured data in a database before any email goes out, ready to search, count and report on. On the Owned outright branch, the database is in your own AWS account.

If an email can't be sent, the enquiry is still kept and retried automatically, and an alert goes to you, and to us while we look after the site. The alert doesn't depend on your email, so it arrives even when email is the problem.

Forms and routing can be tailored, such as parts enquiries to one person and service bookings to another, and the data is kept in a shape that moves straight into a data warehouse later.

Google Search Console set up and verified, with your sitemap submitted, so you can see the searches you appear in, your position and the clicks you get.

Google Analytics 4, linked to Search Console and Google Ads, so you can see which pages and ads lead to enquiries and taps on your phone number. Google's tools use cookies, so your privacy policy says so.

Replacing a site? We record your search traffic, key search terms and enquiry numbers before the switch-over, watch Search Console closely for eight weeks after it, and report against that baseline at weeks two, four and eight.

Part of the Managed branch's monthly fee, and optional for an Owned outright site once it's handed over. Automatic checks watch the site and any forms, and if something stops working, we tell you the same day.

Everything the site runs on is kept up to date, and each month you get a report on visits, top pages and where visitors come from, from cookie-free Vercel analytics. Up to two hours of changes a month are included, each with a private preview link for you to approve. Send a change by email or in a Teams chat. The documentation is updated with every change.

On an Owned outright site it's month to month, you can cancel at any time, and it's never a condition of the build. Without it, changes are quoted first and only go ahead once you approve.
